Is there any difference between electric potential and potential difference because there formulas r same but definitions r different???

Yes, there is a difference.

The work per unit of charge required to move a charge from infinity to a specified point, measured in joules per coulomb or volts. The staticelectric field is the negative of the gradient of the electric potential.

Whereas electric potential differenece is the work done in moving a unit postive charge from one point to another.(its theoritically the difference in the potential energy of two point per unit charge.
