An atom is made up of electrons, neutrons and protons and the absence of any of three will challenge the existence of atom. Like wise, molecules are the combination of two or more atoms either same or different. However, cells are the combination of same and differen

Sumiitsawant: can you explain a bit more
Rinshu124: ok
Rinshu124: Atom: It's tiniest fundamental particle which makes up all known matter in the entire known universe. Everything that you see, smell, breathe, touch, eat is made up of atoms.
Rinshu124: This is the first ever recorded image of a hydrogen atom showing its orbital.
It was imaged using a STM and mapping is wave functions for different values.
This is what an atom is. Know that atoms are in turn made up of Protons (p+) , Electrons (e¯) , and neutron(n).
Rinshu124: Cells : Cells are the fundamental living, functional and structural unit of a living organism. Cells are made of various proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and other compound essential for life. These are called biomolecules and are made up of ATOMS.
Cells of same structure, origin and function come together to form a tissue which forms an organ which forms an organ system and finally it forms an organism.

The fundamental difference is as follows:

An atoms is made up of electrons , neutrons and protons and the absence of any of three will challenge the existence of atom . .... They all contains nucleus , but atoms contain only one , whereas , molecules and cells contain two and ,one or more nuclei respectively.
