Can eyes reveal true emotions?

They say "Eyes are the windows to the soul." It's true. Eyes have the capability of expressing the emotions, and so do all other human organs can.

For example, A blind man can't find out what emotions do other feel through his eyes, but he can do that by the voice of tthe other person, which tells that even our vocals can express the emotions.

Our eyes can majorly show up the emotions like surprise, happy, disguist, pain, fear, sorrow, suspicion etc. Simply, if someone narrow their eyes on listening something, it is either out of suspicion or disguist. If one expand their eyes on something, it is either out of shock or because of utter surprise.

There comes a gesture through eyes for every emotion, involuntarily. Wondering, why eye emotions are special compared to other organ gestures? Because, most of the people believe in the eye communication. It is easy to catch who is genuine in their talks and who is lying, just by seeing the intensity of blinking.

Adam Anderson, professor of human development at Cornell University's College of Human Ecology, through his research revealed that It is true that eyes can reveal emotion. In the survey, he take out the photographs of various emotion showing face photos of actors, and replaced the eyes on those photographs with eyes that shows opposite expressions.

On exhibiting and conducting the survey, he found that most of the people are telling the expressions the eyes are showing rather than the expression the remaining face says. Example, if, on a happy face he pasted a sorrowful eyes, he saw that people are commenting on how much of pain the eyes hold, irrespective of the happy smile the face has.

However, we can say that the people only can read the emotion in the eyes of the beholder, only if they too can feel that emotion within them. So yes, eyes can reveal the true emotions.
