is work done zero in carrying a suitcase over head???

yes,the work done is zero because force and displacement are in right angle .As we know w=fscos(α) where (α is angle).since cos 90 is 0,total product is zero.So work done is zero.

shabb1: w is zero in holding it bt if we travel taking it over head then work is also zero??

Divyankasc: W = Fs ... When the suitcase is on head, s = 0 so w = Fs = F × 0 = 0.....But when the suitcase is moving the displacement is not zero so work done IS also not zero

Work done is zero while just holding it over head. But while carrying, distance is covered so work is also done.
