When the postmaster saw Lencho's letter, at first, he laughed. But, after few seconds, he thought about the writers faith in God. He was worried for the writer that if he doesn't get the reply from, the writer will lose his/her faith in God. So in order not to shake the writer's faith in God, the postmaster decided to answer the letter. But he required something more than a pen, paper and goodwill.

He needed money to reply to Lencho's letter. So he told all his staff employees to give a small amount of money as charity. And he successfully collected seventy pesos. All this about the postmaster states that he was a kind hearted person and who also thought about others' faith. His idea of answering the letter was successful and the writer, Lencho did not loose his faith in God. Though he suspected the post office workers for the less amount of money he received. He thought that God could not have denied the request nor he could make a mistake.

So he thought the post office employees have taken his rest of the money.

Hope it helps
