Explanation: salads and raw vegetables are a part of a balanced diet and eating only fruits and vegetables is very harmful for the body. The body needs water, carbohydrates, fat (not in excess), meat (if vegetarian then other foods that give protein like lentils, dairy products, eggs, tofu), and vitamins and minerals which you can get in leafy vegetables and some dairy products. Your body can't function only on salads and raw vegetables because it need the other nutrition from other food which these can't give.
