It is desired to obtain an erect image of an object, using concave mirror of focal length of 12 cm.
Where will the image of this object be, if it is place 24cm in front of the mirror? Draw ray diagram for this situation also to justify your answer. Show the position of pole, principal focus and the centre of curvature in the above ray diagrams.

Sagittarius29: There is something wrong in the question
Sagittarius29: To obtain errect image, the object should be placed between pole and principal focus of the mirror
Sagittarius29: But, in the above question the object is placed at 24 cm from the mirror i.e. center of curvature
Sagittarius29: In this condition, the image will be of the same size as that of the object, real and inverted
Sagittarius29: So, I request you to correct your question

image will form at C and the ray diagram is follow because C is the centre and double of focus so if focal length is 12 then centre of curvature is 24 in front of mirror
so
it is not possible to form erect image

nature :
real
inverted
same size
at C
