it is difficult to burn a heap of green leaves but not a heap of dry leaves . explain why???

Green leaves contain moisture and as a result, the ignition temperature of green leaves is much higher than that of dry leaves. Due to this, it is difficult to burn a heap of green leaves but dry leaves catch fire easily.

because the green leaves contains all the minerals and it contains chlorophyll which keeps the leaf green in colour whereas the dry leaf won't have anything
