No because there is a theorem that says that in a triangle sum of two sides is greater than the third side. But here 3+2=5.So,not possible.

Shilpakarpagam: Yes,it forms a triangle
drokncgf: answer
drokncgf: sorrryyyyyyyyyy
Shilpakarpagam: Because 3+6>7,7+6>3,7+3>6
Shilpakarpagam: Why sorry?
drokncgf: i tap wrong
Shilpakarpagam: Mm,okay
Shilpakarpagam: Did you understand the question now?
drokncgf: but please tell me the simple method
Shilpakarpagam: Just add any two sides and check if it is greater or not.And I dont think there is another way

no, it is not possible to have a triangle with the sides 2cm,3cm,5cm.

we have a theorem for this kind of situation.

it is sum of the 2 sides must be greater than that of the 3rd side.

as we take sides 2cm+3cm we get 5cm which is equal to the third side 5cm.

but the third side needs to be greater than that of 5cm to follow the theorem.

so we cannot contruct the triangle with those sides.

hope this helps.

vaniR: we need to consider the theorem that sum of 2 sides must be greater than that of the third side. thus if the measures of the sides satisfies the theorem the questiob is done.
