It was a bright sunny day. I was sitting in my drawing room enjoying the view outside. And suddenly I saw a bag being furled into the air; it fell in our garden. Immediately I ran to the bag, picked it up and ran out to see who had flung the bag. To my surprise, the person who had thrown it had turned the corner.
My suspicion began to rise. There was no lock on the bag. So I opened it. I was shocked to see the contents inside the bag. A device with a timer was ticking. It was a time-bomb! I threw it in the empty plot and called the police. The police van with a team of bomb-disposal squad reached the spot within five minutes.
After diffusing the bomb successfully, the inspector told me, ‘A terrorist had managed to escape the police an hour ago. The police was trying to locate him. you have done a great job, boy; we have found the bomb. Soon we will find the terrorist too.’
I felt very good as my timely action had averted that could have resulted in a tragic explosion.
