well firstly u could tell how it was planed like it was a hot day in vacations and ur sister's call came by which she invited you and ur friends to spend their holidays with her .u could mention a hilly place or some place which is quite known .mention ur friends names and their characters but don't let them be more than 3-4.tell that u are all in a musical club and have u and 1 of friends have brought a guitar tell that u are going by train and in morning all of u gathered and prepared lunch before going to train and tell about it's taste and what u took for dinner in train. and the scenery along the way and how u felt when u reached the station and by seeing your sister after a long time . u could also mention what fun things u did with ur sister and the places u visited and if still , material is less mention even going back that's all

U could just imagine it and tell what things u and ur friends might have done

dear diary,

 it was finally summer and weather was very hot only if there was a way to escape it, well me and my friends found it, we decided to go to manali it was a pleasant climate there and all though it was summer the mountains were still filled with snow we went skiing and had a snowball fight which was just amazing

we visited a few very old historic sites and temples , tasted some local delicacies we went trekking and saw some of the most beautiful wildlife in the world.We never really had so much fun in our lives ,i also painted a few sceneries  , we stayed at a hotel ,
