This expression from ‘Discovering Tut: The Saga Continues’ by A.R. Williams means that when Howard Carter, the British archaeologist found King Tut’s tomb, he found the articles and artefacts that had been buried with the body of Tut at the time of his funeral, to be complete. Though it appeared someone had tried to look at them and placed them untidily here and there in the tomb, but they had not been stolen.
THANKS!!
