Let the time taken by 1 men = x
Let the time taken by 1 boy = y

work done in 1 day -

$\frac{1}{x} \: and \: \frac{1}{y}$
ACCORDING TO QUESTION -
4 mens and 6 boys in 5 day -
$\frac{4}{x} + \frac{6}{y} = \frac{1}{5}$ -(i)
And, 3 mens and 4 boys in 7 days -
$\frac{3}{x} + \frac{4}{y} = \frac{1}{7}$ -(ii)
