Janta bai bought 1.5 kg tea and 5kg sugar from a shop. She paid 50rs as return fare for rickshaw. Total expanse was 700rs. Next month she placed the order online for 2kg tea and 7kg super.she paid 880rs for that. Find tha rate of super and tea per kg.

Let price of tea and sugar be t and s resp,

So, 1.5t + 5s + 50 = 700

1.5t + 5s = 650....(1)

Now, we have

2t + 7s = 880....(2)

Solving (1) and (2) we get

4 X [ 1.5t + 5s = 650 ]

6t + 20s = 2600 and,

3 X [2t + 7s = 880 ]

6t + 21s = 2640

So we get,

s = 2640 - 2600

s = 40

So, 2t + 7(40) = 880

2t = 880 - 280

2t = 600

t = 300

Therefore tea costs 300 per kg, and sugar costs 40 per kg.
