Answer:

Jaya's total salary=  ₹20000

for buying saree=2/5*20000=     ₹8000

for buying wrist watch= 1/10*2000=  ₹2000

total money spend = ₹2000+ ₹8000= ₹10000

so she is left with = 20000-10000=  ₹10000

Answer:

10000 rupees

Step-by-step explanation:

first of all find the total money has invested in her saree

ATQ

2/5 of her salary, she buy saree for her mother

in rupees = 2/5 of 20000 = 8000rupees

then she buy a wrist watch from her salary

she buy wrist watch = 1/10 of her salary

= 1/10 of 20000 = 2000rupees

total money she had spent = 8000+2000

=10000rupees

total money she left from her salary = 20000-10000 = 10000rupees
