Explanation:

'Jijamata udyan', the famous zoo in Mumbai has acclimatized Humboldt penguins.

Penguins are generally the inhabitants of the South Pole. These flightless marine birds live in Antarctica, a place which is snow covered all of the year. Naturally, these birds are accustomed to live and survive in extreme cold temperatures.

If they are transported to any other place of the world, which is generally warmer than the South Poles, these penguins will die. They need to be given those exact conditions, in which they have lived since their birth.

That is why the penguins require to live in a place for some time to gradually adjust to the changes in the place. This is known as acclimatization and this is why penguins are required to be acclimatized.
