2X + 4Y = 134 ( NUMBER OF TOTAL FEET) ....(2)

ON MULTIPLYING EQUATION 1 BY 2 AND SUBTRACTING IT FROM EQUATION 2 WE GET

2Y = 134-96

2Y = 38

Y= 19
