John covers a distance by driving a car at 60kmph and he returns back to the starting point on the scooter at 40 kmph. Find the average speed for the whole journey.Options:50kmph,51kmph,48kmph or 54kmph

His speed were - 60km/hr and 40km/hr

Formula of average - (Number 1 + Number 2)/ No. of numbers

(60+40)/2

= 100/2 = 50

(Ans) So the average speed is 50km/hr.
