John has Rs 50 more than what Smith has. if Smith takes Rs 35 from John the money Smith has now is twice of what is left with John. find out how much money each had originally? please do the working..

john has = x+50
smith takes 35 from john =(x+50)-35

john has  left with money=x+15
smith has x+35
by the prblem 
x+35=2(x+15)
x+35=2x+30
35-30=2x-x
x=5
∴john had 55
and smith had 5
