When two species are isolated then they are unable to reproduce , so they reproduce within themselves . Every time an organism is produced there is some variation due to 2 parents involvement , after a long time so much of variations occur that they are completely unable to reproduce with the isolated specie and a new specie is formed . Geographical isolation can occur due to a river between the mountains on which the two species live
