This was Mendeleev's law which was incorrect. The Modern periodic law by Henry Moseley says that "Properties of an element are periodic functions of their atomic NUMBERS"

xcv: But this law was also correct to some extent before the discovery of isotopes. Is that right?
Rajdeep11111: Correct...but some positions like position of potassium and argon, etc.. were wrong
xcv: Excluding these exceptions, can we justify my question somehow?
xcv: I mean is it possible to?
Rajdeep11111: I do not think so...because there is no such explanations...I request you to wait so that others see it and answer it...I do not know the answer. sorry bro
Rajdeep11111: Anyways HAPPY NEW YEAR
