Industrialization is the process of depending upon machinery instead of manual work. These are evident from the period of 17th and 18th century in the European Continent which slowly spreaded to other parts of the world under the influence of Colonization.
The importance of rail links to promote industrialization are as follows:-
- Railways act as the medium of transportation of goods and services from one place to another.
- With the faster industrialization, railways help in reducing the time which is taken during connectivity from one area to other.
- Railways also support the carriage and shifting of finished goods from far places to the destinations.
