dear !!!
you typed by mistake stitometry
it's stoichiometry .
★ STOCHIOMETRY :- it deals with the calculation of relative masses of reactant and products during a chemical reaction .it is mainly based on Mole Concept and Equivalent concept .
★Limiting reagents :- During a chemical reaction , if a reactant is taken in lesser amount than the required amount , then it exhausted first and further reaction doesn't occur . such type of reactant called the limiting reagent .
➡ Limiting reagent in a reaction can be known by calculating moles of each reactant in a reaction .if the moles of a reactant is present lesser amount then required mole in a balanced reaction , it act as Limiting reagent.
Example :- C + O2 → CO2
given 5 g of C and 10 g of O , find limiting reagents .
solution ::-
we see that 1 mole of C react with 1 mole of O2 and form 1 mole of CO2
it means , 12g of C react with 32g of O2 and form 44g of CO2 .
so, 1 g of C react with 32/12 g = 8/3 g of O2
so, 5 g of C react with 40/3 g = 13.33g of O2
but only 10g Oxygen given ,
hence , oxygen present in lesser amount . so O2 is limiting reagent.
[ I think you should solve LR based questions by unitary method , this is best method for me ]
★ NaOH + H2SO4 →Na2SO4 + H2O
balanced equation ,
2NaOH + H2SO4 →Na2SO4 +2H2O
we see that , 2 mole of NaOH react with 1 mole of H2SO4
so, 5 mole of NaOH react with 2.5 mole of H2SO4 .
