Answer:

a) The difference of the price of red and blue colored marbles is = Tk.5,000

b) Adnan have 7000 Green marbles and the price is = Tk.35,000

c) For Tk.440, Adnan could sell = 77 Green marbles.

Step-by-step explanation:

The total number of marbles is 24000

Red marbles is \frac{1}{3} part = \frac{1}{3} . 24000 = 8000

Blue marbles is \frac{3}{8} part = \frac{3}{8} . 24000 = 9000

∴ Number of Green marbles = 24000 - (8000 + 9000) = 7000

The price of a marble is Tk.5

∴ Price of Red colored marbles = Tk. 5 x 8000 =Tk.40,000

And the Price of Blue colored marbles = Tk. 5 x 9000 =Tk.45,000

a) The difference of the price of red and blue colored marbles is

Tk. (45,000 - 40,000) = Tk.5,000

b) Adnan have 7000 Green marbles and the price is

Tk. 5 x 7000 = Tk.35,000

c) From item (a) we know that the difference of the price of red and blue colored marbles is Tk.5,000

Now Adnan wants to make Tk.5,000 profit by selling his 7000 Green marbles.

Cost of 7000 Green marbles is Tk.5 x 7000 = Tk.35,000 [as calculated in item (b)]

His selling Price = Cost + Profit = Tk.35,000 + Tk.5,000 = Tk.40,000

Now, for Tk.40,000 Adnan is supposed to sell 7000 Green marbles

∴  for Tk.440, he could sell = \frac{7000}{40000} . 440 = 77 Green marbles.
