As we know that momentum (P) = mass× velocity.

When a body of mass ( m) moves with a velocity 'v' , then Kinetic energy Will produced in form K.E = 1/2 mv^2 .

K.E= (mv)^2/2m

K.E= P^2/2m. [since P=mv]
