Very simple ans k=( -6/2x²-x)
full -kx²-2x+6=0
-kx²-2x=-6
kx(x-2)=-6
k=-6/x²-x.2
k=-6/x²-2x sol...

if the eq . has equal root.....then
D= 0......so on putting the value
D = b^2- 4ac
a=k, b=2k and C= 6
D= (-2k)^2-4×k×6
=4k^2-24k

hope it helps you....
