Two Method of preparation of alkene from Dicarboxylic acid

Explanation:

We can prepare alkene from two method one is from vicinal dicarboxylic acids (two carboxylic acid are adjacent to eachother) while other is from electrolysis of sodium salt of dicarboxylic acid
From vicinal dicarboxylic acid- alkene is obtained by decomposing its peresters
By electrolysis of sodium salt of dicarboxylic acid alkene could be obtained. For example sodium succinate electrolysed give alkene at anode electrode and Hydrogen at cathode electrode
