  1. To construct large dams, A lot of forest land or cultivated land is to be cleared.
  2. This destroys some ecosystems, even human life gets intervened
  3. The native biodiversity is lost because of the clearing to construct Dams.
  4. Knowledge about herbs, and medicinal plants of the ecosystem is lost with the place.
  5. Due to the cut down of forest land, Oxygen percent will come down, rain fall regulation will be lost.
  6. There will be a lot of change in climatic patterns like being too hot at times because of no forests
