3. Power: We need power(electricity) to run machines. Power can be produced in different ways. Thermal power is

produced from coal, gas or oil. Hydroelectric power is produced from water.

4. Labour: Various forms of labours- engineers, scientists, managers and workers are required to run an industry.

5. Money/Finance: It is the most important resource for setting up an industry. It is needed to buy land to set up a

factory, to buy raw materials, and to pay workers.

6. Transport: It is required to bring raw material to the factory and send finished products to different parts of the

country
