first find the LCM(8,10,12,15) = 120

The largest common multiple of these numbers will also be a multiple of their LCM

Now for making our calculation easier we take the smallest 5 digit number which will be 10000 because largest 4 digit number and smallest 5 digit number are close enough to reduce our calculation.

Now by dividing 10000 by 120, we get 40 as remainder (no need of  quotient)

which means that if 40  is subtracted from 10000 then it would be divisible by 120 and by subtracting 40 from 10000 we get 9960 which the largest 4 digit number to be divisible by 8,10,12 and 15.

Similarly, if we were being asked to calculate the lowest 5 digit number divisible by 8,10,12 and 15 then it would have been 10000 + 120 - 40 = 10080

If you understood the solution mark it as brainliest. :)
