There was a monkey running on the branches of the tree. The monkey had taken the apple from the fruit seller's basket and was eating it.
Lucy and Sam were surprised to see a monkey in the park. They watched the monkey eat the apple. Then, the monkey threw the core on the ground and chattered loudly. Sam said, "The monkey looks hungry. Let's buy some bananas and give them to the monkey." Lucy agreed.
They went to the fruit seller and bought a bunch of bananas. They came back to the tree and showed the bananas to the monkey. The monkey came down from the tree and took the bananas. The monkey ate the bananas happily and thanked Lucy and Sam by chattering loudly.
Lucy and Sam were happy to help the monkey. They sat under the tree for some more time, watching the monkey playing on the tree. When it was time to go, they said goodbye to the monkey and left the park.
