Leaves of a sensitive plant wilt and droop down on a slight touch. What mechanism brings about this change?

It is due to the presence of the turgidity when the leaves are in the form of the slight touched and they can droop due to the change in the water content due to the presence I of the osmosis perhaps.

Both drooping and wilting plant leaves on the touching which termed as the sesimonastic movement.
