Answer:

 \frac{3}{2} cm \: and \: 6 cm

Given:

Length of rectangle=4 times its breadth

And perimeter=15cm

To find:Dimensions of rectangle

Solution:-

Let breadth be x

then length be 4x

perimeter=15

We know that

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

15=2(4x+x)

15=2(5x)

15=10x

15/10=x

3/2=x

x=3/2

------------

Therefore;

Breadth=3/2 cm

Length=4×3/2

=6 cm

Answer:

The length of Rectangle is 4 times it's breadth .

The perimeter of Rectangle is 15 .

Suppose the breadth of Rectangle = x

The length of Rectangle = 4x

and the perimeter of Rectangle = 15

Formula of perimeter :

2( Length + Breadth ).

15 = 2( 4x + x )

15 = 2( 5x )

15 = 10x

X =15/10

X = 3/2

The breadth of Rectangle = 3/2

The length of Rectangle = 4 × 3/2

= 12 / 2

= 6
