given sides are 8.5cm and 11.5cm

and height = 4.2cm

so area of trapizum

=1/2*(sum of parallel sides)*height

=1/2*(11.5+8.5)*4.2

=1/2*20*4.2

=42cm square is ur answer

Answer:

42 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the two parallel sides of a trapezium are 8.5 cm and 11.5 cm respectively and its height is 4.2 cm, find its area.

Area of a Trapezium =  (1/2) (sum of Parallel side) * Height between parallel sides

Parallel sides are given as 8.5 cm & 11.5 cm

height is given as 4.2 cm

Area of Trapezium = (1/2) ( 8.5 + 11.5) * 4.2

=> Area of Trapezium = (1/2) (20) * 4.2

=> Area of Trapezium = 10 * 4.2

=> Area of Trapezium = 10 * 4.2  = 42 cm²

Area of Trapezium =  42 cm²
