I hope this letter finds you in great health and spirits. I am writing this letter to you to apologize for my reckless and rash behavior yesterday. While backing the car in the Green Avenue yesterday, I did not see you and hit your bike badly which even damaged it a little. In stead of feeling sorry, I just shouted on you! Though you did not say a word, yet I felt bad after the incident. My brother sitting next to me recognized you. So he helped me obtain your address. Once again I offer my apologies for being inconsiderate. Take care!

Hello Mr. Biker,
I am sorry for having to address you that way, as I am not aware of your name. I tried looking into the parking lot register but the security people were not of much help so I kept a note of your bike registration number.
I am leaving this letter on your bike here because I wanted to acknowledge my mistake and apologize to you for having damaged your bike 2 days back. I was in a hurry as I was already late for my meeting and so, in a rush, I parked the car at the wrong angle. Although I knew it was wrong, I was more bothered about my meeting and left it there as it is. When I had to remove the car in the evening while heading back home, the car hit your rear mirror and broke it while taking a reverse.
I rushed to the bike and to the security for help but they couldn't trace the owner of the bike. I had made efforts to look for yesterday but looks like your bike was gone for repair and re-touch.
Although I cannot give any excuses to defend myself, I apologize sincerely. Please contact me at the given number and I shall reimburse the whole cost of repair for the damage I had caused. I am also sorry for having caused an inconvenience to you.
