RE:Complaint Concerning The Public LibraryI would like to make a complaint concerning our public library. First of all, I like to mention thatthere are always insufficient copies of newspapers in the library. (C1) Library users especially the old folkslove to read the newspapers early in the morning when the library is open to catch up with the latest newsbut we never seem to have enough copies to go around. It will be nice if the library authorities can providemore copies of the local newspapers to accommodate/satisfy the needs of the library users. (1a)Next, the library is also too noisy at times especially when it is packed. Many users do not followthe proper etiquette of using the library in silence. (C2 & 2a) The air-conditioning is too cold, leading tomany of us having to wear thick clothing if we are spending quite some time in the library. Moreover, children normally wait for parents at the library after school. (C3) However, some arenot interested in reading. They end up loitering around the library disturbing other users. (3a) Interactivemedia like educational CD-ROMS or DVDs can be purchased by the authorities for these children to enjoy. Televisions and computers can be installed with headphone access. Typical of many public facilities in our country, the library is not friendly to the handicapped. Thelibrary is hampered by poor services for the wheelchair-bound users as there is a lack of ramps for them toaccess the library and it is not easy for these users to move around the library. (C4) (4a)Finally, the latest edition of reference books is not available in the library. Students need to refer tothe latest information to be well-prepared for their examinations. (C5) (5a) Only then can they achieveexcellent results in their exams.I hope the authorities of the library can help the users to overcome these complaints and provide abetter service to the users. Your immediate attention to these complaints would be much appreciated. Yours faithfully,(Signature)(Name
