Answer:

This story of Kisa Gotami speaks of mortal human beings who must face suffering and death. It is a lesson on the necessity of overcoming personal tragedies and moving on in life.

The woman in the story was searching everywhere for someone who could revive her dead child. But nobody can do such a miracle. Finally, a person sends her to Buddha because he was sure that Buddha would help the poor woman to come to terms with her lost and grief. Buddha finds an innovative approach to make that lady realize the truth of death. On Buddha’s command, Kisa Gotami goes in search of a house where nobody had ever died. But it is impossible to find such a house. The poor Iady realises the important lesson which Buddha wanted to teach her. Death comes to every family. Human life is full of trials and tribulations. It is filled with suffering and each person must overcome them. Real wisdom is to accept the inevitable and continue the journey of life.

Answer:

In the lesson 'The Sermon at Benares', Kisa Gotami understood the true meaning of the Buddha's lesson. She was grieving the death of her son and wanted to bring him back to life but she finally realised that men are mere mortal beings with a limited life span and death is inevitable. According to the teachings of Lord Buddha, a wise person must understand the cycle of life and death as it's the true way of living life. One must always accept the trials and tribulations in one's life without feeling sorrow and lead a happy life
