refractive index of glass= 1.5

we know

refractive index =
speed of light on vaccum/speed of light in glass

therefore
speed of glass
=speed of light in vaccum/ refractive index of glass
= 3 x10^8 / 1.5
=30/15 x 10^8
=2 x 10^8

hey there,

given that speed of light in vacuum= 1.50

from the relation, n=c/v

speed of light in glass= 3 × 10⁸ m s⁻¹/1.50

by calculating,
required answer = 2 × 10⁸ m s⁻¹.

hope it helps..
