Why the resistance does not remain same or increases when area of wire is increased.(as atoms should also increase in the conductor which obstructs the flow of electrons)

as resistance depends on area and length of conductor,more will be area of conductor more will the flow through it less will be resistance ;hence resistance does not remains same. ( the atoms will increase but the wire will not heat up with same extent. hence vibration of atoms is less and resistance decreases.)

Anonymous: actually electrons are outside the Atoms and +ions are called kernels when the wire heats up the kernels vibrate more and increase resistance but in case of large area wire it will not heat up easily
