Firstly this movement took a wide spread people left there jobs in order to join this movement. Huge number of people gathered and joined this movement .
But there were some limitations :-
1) Unemployment spread all around which lead in to hungers in families.
2) Those who have left there jobs went back to there works.
3) Students , lawyers , soldiers etc joined back the government for work .
4). These movement made people to buy khadi dress which was not affordable to poor people who again started taking clothes from British
5) This all made Gandhiji disheartened
