✍✍✍ Limitations of Dobereiners Law are;

1. It was applicable only to lighter elements.i.e up to Calcium.After calcium , every 8th element possesses different properties than the 1st element.

2. It was assumed that only 56 elements existed in nature and no new elements would be discovered.But later on several new elements were discovered whose properties doesn't fit in the "Law of Octaves".

3. He put some unlike elements under same note and slot , in order to fit the elements in his table.
