SOLUTION

GIVEN

Line l is perpendicular bisector of seg AB. If point P lies on line 'l' and l(PA)= 5 cm

TO DETERMINE

l(PB)

EVALUATION

Here it is given that Line l is perpendicular bisector of seg AB

The point P lies on line 'l' and l(PA)= 5 cm

We know that if AB is a line segment and l is its perpendicular bisector. If a point P lies on l. Then P is equidistant from A and B

Thus from above ,

l(PA) = l(PB)

⇒ l(PB) = 5 cm

FINAL ANSWER

l(PB) = 5 cm
