No of hours the book read of Lipika everyday = 1 ¾ hours. No of days to read the entire book = 6 days.

Then solution can be derived as: 1 3/4 x 6=7/4 x 6 = 21/2. Upon dividing, you get 10 ½ that is 10 hours 30 minutes.

The number of hours required by her to read the whole book = 10 ½.

Number of hours she reads a day = 1 3/4 hours  (Given)

Find the number of hours read in 6 days:

I day = 1 3/4 hours

6 days = 1 3/4 x 6

6 days = 7/4 x 6

6 days = 42/4

6 days = 10 1/2 hours

Answer: She needs 10 1/2 hours to read the book.
