Measures initiated by the UAE Government to conserve wildlife are -

(1) Hunters and poachers are penalized.

(2) Hunting of wild animals and birds has been banned.

(3) National parks and wildlife sanctuaries are being set - up in different parts of the world.

(4) Project Tiger - a wildlife conservation project was launched in 1973 in Corbett National Park. It is the most successful conservation venture that aims at tiger conservation in specially constituted tiger reserves throughout India.



Measures initiated by the UAE Government to conserve natural environment are -

(1) Afforestation or large scale plantation of trees.

(2) Conservation of wildlife.

(3) Efficient utilization of a forest products to protect and prohibit deforestation.

(4) The Government are imposing fine to those people who throw wastes in drains , rivers , etc.
