Hey there !
Mixtures:-
When two or more substances are mixed together in any ration , but do not combine chemically are called mixtures.
Types of mixtures:-
Homogeneous mixture:-
A mixture in which the constituents are distributed uniformly throughout.
They are sometimes referred to as solutions.
The constituents cannot be easily seen with our naked eyes.
Also , the constituents can't be separated in an easy manner.
Example:-
Soda water , Air
Heterogeneous mixtures:-
A mixture in which the constituents are not uniformly distributed.
In other words ,
These types of mixtures do not have uniform composition.
There are two special types of heterogeneous mixtures:- Suspensions and emulsions
The constituents can be easily seen with our naked eyes.
Also , the constituents can be separated in an easy manner.
Examples:-
Salt and sand
Mixture of iron and sulphur
