particals are packed tightly
it can hold good amount of water
water can't drain quickly
it's heavy in weight
less air is trapped between the particals
it's rich in humus

sandy soil.....the production of large partical is higher
particals are loosely higher
its ability to retain water is low
water can drain quickly
it's light in weight
more air is trapped between the particles
it's not rich in humus .
