we know that loga+logb=log an
so, log (x+1)+log (x-1)=log ((x+1)(x-1))
=log (x^2-1)=log24
=x^2-1=24
=x^2=24+1=25
=x=square root of 25=5
so, log (x+1)+log (x-1)=log ((x+1)(x-1))
=log (x^2-1)=log24
=x^2-1=24
=x^2=24+1=25
=x=square root of 25=5
