 log(a) + log(b) = log(a \times b) \\ ........................................... \\ log(x + 6) + log(x - 6) = 2 log(8) \\ log[(x + 6)(x - 6)] = log( {8}^{2} ) \\ log( {x}^{2} - 36 ) = log(64) \\ \\ {x}^{2} - 36 = 64 \\ {x}^{2} = 64 + 36 \\ {x}^{2} = 100 \\ x = 10
