Explanation:

(a)Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the planets closest to the Sun. They are called the inner planets. The inner planets are made up mostly of rock. The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

(b)Asteroids, meteors, and meteorites … ... Asteroid: a large rocky body in space, in orbit around the Sun.

Meteoroid: much smaller rocks or particles in orbit around the Sun.

Meteor: If a meteoroid enters the Earth's atmosphere and vaporizes, it becomes a meteor, which is often called a shooting star.

(c)A planet is usually defined as an object (which might be solid, liquid, gas, or a combination of all three) which is too small to produce nuclear fusion (which is the process by which the sun burns) and which orbits a star. The Earth is an example of a planet and orbits the sun, which is a star.

(b) asteroids are very big in size as compared to meteoroids. the one that is smaller than meteoroids are called meteors.
