m(m-5)+2(m-5)=0

 {m}^{2}  - 5m + 2m - 10 = 0

Since, middle term is following the rules of quadratic equation I.e product of 5 and -2 is 10 hence we split it as it is.

 m(m - 5) + 2(m - 5) = 0
